Dr. Justin Taylor graduated from the Frieman Lab in the summer of 2014. He received his Bachelors of Arts from The University of Colorado at Boulder where he fit in studying with mountain biking and skiing. While at The University of Maryland School of Medicine for his PhD in Molecular Microbiology and Immunology, he studied SARS-CoV pathogenesis and the role of host factors that regulate pathogenesis and virus replication. He is currently a Global Health Technical Specialist at Global Scientific Solutions for Health (GSS Health). He was also awarded a prestigious Emerging Leaders in Biosecurity Initiative Fellowship by the UPMC Center for Health Security in 2015.
